dd went back to school today. Ds came home from school early. Yes he has what she had. He is so practicing to be a manly man too. They have the same thing and she never whined but he has been such a baby. Send some healthy thoughts b/c dh DOESN’T need to get this.

Tomorrow’s the big women in law shopping day. Ds is going to hang out with my step dad. He will be 100% whiner when I get back b/c Papaw will baby the shit out of him. Will it be worth it… oh yeah! ๐Ÿ™‚

No school again today. Poor thing has spent half the day in the bathroom. She cried this morning when she found out she wasn’t going to school. All the way to school the other one pouted b/c he had to go to school. Funny how different they are huh?!

Speaking of different… I am finding it a little funny, even though it shouldn’t be, that people are surprised my mom wasn’t there Sunday. I never thought she would be so it didn’t surprise me. I have learned not to expect things from her so I am not disappointed. I guess some are seeing who I have known my whole life and they are shocked. I am past all of that. She is who she is and I am who I am.

Yesterday was mine and dh’s wedding anniversary. I can’t believe we’ve been married 13 years. We marked this anniversary with our baptism. It was pretty cool being in front of the same church we were married in.

Shopping was fun. I have a few more things left to get and I will be DONE!

Dd woke me up around 3 am saying her tummy hurt. Then she told me she threw up. I took off the freshly washed sheets, gagged,ย cleaned the floor while gagging and wrapped them all in a blanket to be washed. She got sick a few more times but had a trash can. This morning I gagged when I had to face the washer. This afternoon she had the runs so I don’t know yet if she’s going to school tomorrow or not.

I am going to join the kids who are sleeping.

The sil’s and I are getting up in the morning to shop till we drop.

I have to brag here now. Today I got my tree up and let the kids decorate it. While dd was in the tub I got everything I have bought wrapped and under the tree. I have a few things left to get each of them and I will be done with them. ๐Ÿ™‚ I am hoping to get some done while out in the morning. If not I will get it done next Friday. That’s the big shopping day with the women in law.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Ate too much and visited with family. The kids have played with their cousins all day long. They ran, played games, watched movies, talked and fought lol.

We are going to look at the puppy tomorrow afternoon. My mil will meet up with us, so that the kids can see the baby too. Well I am going to finish some laundry and then get to bed. Shopping comes very early. ๐Ÿ˜‰

A nice, calm, respectable lady went into the pharmacy, walked up to the pharmacist, looked straight into his eyes, and said, “I would like to buy some cyanide.”

The pharmacist asked, “Why in the world do you need cyanide?”

The lady replied, “I need it to poison my husband.”

The pharmacist’s eyes got big and he exclaimed, “I can’t give you cyanide to kill your husband. That’s against the law! I will lose my license! They’ll throw both of us in jail! All kinds of bad things will happen. Absolutely not! You CANNOT have any cyanide!”

The lady reached into her purse and pulled out a picture of her husband at a fancy restaurant, having dinner with the pharmacist’s wife.

The pharmacist looked at the picture and replied, “Well now, that’s different. You didn’t tell me you had a prescription.”

am I really ready?

I went out to see the new babies at lunch Friday. They are very cute but so hard to pick a 1 day old puppy.

I remember the day I went to look for the last puppy. I walked into the room she had them in and seen they weren’t really what I was looking for. I couldn’t not pick them up so I sat beside them and this one picked me out. I held her for a minute and put her back but she got up in my lap again. It was “the” puppy for us. I stopped looking and got her.

I told the kids we were getting another puppy around Christmas. When we got home from school today dd went to Sassy’s grave. I have thought about Sassy a lot too. So my thought is are we ready?
